In an interview with Candace Owens, author and filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza said the violence by Antifa radicals and others in response to the death of George Floyd is a direct result of progressive indoctrination at America’s institution of higher learnings.

“Academic community is the theory, and Antifa is the practice,” D’Souza said on “The Candace Owens Show.”

Discussing his brand-new book “United States of Socialism: Who lags It. Why It’s Evil. How to Stop It,” D’Souza was reacting to Owens’ remark that America has “replaced a strong education system with mental conditioning.”

Students are being taught “anti-Americanism,” she said, finishing with a hatred for Western civilization and commercialism.

“I feel badly when I see these kids, these 15-year-old Antifa thugs, running around, rioting, since they actually understand absolutely nothing. They understand absolutely nothing,” stated Owens.

D’Souza said that following the death of George Floyd, the left took an episode that everyone condemned and, instead of seizing a chance for national unity, chose racial department.

Rather of merely changing bad polices with good polices, the left painted all law enforcement officers with the charge of “institutional bigotry.”

It fits the story of the New York Times “1619 Project,” he said, that America was a racist country at its foundation, beginning with the Jamestown colony.

“The demonization of America narrative is now put on top of the George Floyd killing and the basic move is if you reject the narrative, you don’t care about George Floyd,” D’Souza discussed.

This, he stated, is what frightens even conservatives.

“They feel they have to genuflect before this story otherwise they’ll be accused of being racist.”

In the past, D’Souza observed, this century old narrative of progressives was discussed. Now there’s no dispute, and they just “drum it into young people, and these young people do not know the counter-narrative.”

He stated conservatives are relatively good at countering with realities, such as “the majority of killed by police officers are in fact white.”

“But a truth doesn’t dispute a story, because a story is in fact an analysis of a wide body of truths,” D’Souza said.

“It’s actually essential for our side to produce counter-narratives that tell the other story that youths are not undergoing.”

D’Souza mentioned that if a graduate really believes that America is racist to its core and that its wealth has been produced by oppression, “then tossing a Molotov Cocktail into a cops precinct remains in truth logical.”

“Since you’re going to do whatever you can by any methods required to remove this monster.”
